Pennsylvania Dog Law Action
In 2006, Governor Edward G. Rendell implemented sweeping changes to Pennsylvania's Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement and announced his plans to improve the laws and regulations regarding dogs in kennels. Based in initial regulation drafts, the Bureau received more than 16,000 comments on how to improve the dog law. In addition, the Bureau participated in countless meetings with interest groups, industry representatives and legislators.  The overhaul of the dog law presented here is the result of all feedback received over the past two years. It is time to take action to improve Pennsylvania's Dog Law.
