Autumn Valley Golden Retriever Club – Southern Tier

Autumn Valley Golden Retriever Club was formed in 1994 to promote the golden retriever. AVGRC is a group of breeders, exhibitors and owners located in the Southern Tier of New York and in Northeastern and Central Pennsylvania. We are a member of the Golden Retriever Club of America (GRCA) which in turn is a member of the American Kennel Club (AKC). The name “Autumn Valley” was not chosen because of any location, but because of the many colors that our goldens come in.

Delaware Valley German Shepherd Dog Club

The Delaware Valley German Shepherd Club was founded on July 16, 1946, when a group of people interested in the German Shepherd Dog met at the Conestoga Inn in suburban Philadelphia. Their purpose was the improvement of the breed. Today the Clubs’ goal is the same. Through programs and activities members learn about all aspects of the German Shepherd Dog, including mental and physical development, the breed standard, working ability, breeding, care and rearing of puppies, etc.

Our club was originally organized as The Philadelphia Great Dane Fanciers Association, then as The Great Dane Club of Philadelphia. Pre-dated only by the Great Dane Club of California, our club is the second-oldest club in the country devoted to the interests of Great Danes and along with the GDCC and the Mid-West Great Dane club, one of the original three affiliate clubs to join the Great Dane Club of America in 1937.

Greater Valley Forge Rhodesian Ridgeback Club

We presently have members residing in areas of DE, MD, NJ, PA, NY, and even Florida! Our goal is to host events that everyone who loves the breed can be involved in. Harrisburg Shetland Sheepdog Club

HSSC meetings are scheduled quarterly throughout the year. The club's annual awards banquet is held in December or January.  In late summer, the club holds its annual member picnic. We hold our annual AKC Designated Specialty Breed Show in August in Harrisburg PA, and our AKC Sheltie SpecialtyObedience/Rally combined trial is held in November. The Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of the Potomac is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America affiliated Specialty Club.
