Established in 1953, the Allentown Dog Training Club (ADTC) is a Licensed AKC Obedience and Rally Dog Training Club and is a Member of the Pennsylvania Federation of Dog Clubs. ADTC conducts classes throughout the year in all levels of Obedience and Rally, as well as other venues such as scent work. We offer classes in Puppy Kindergarten, Obedience, and Rally. Purebred and mixed breed dogs are all welcome at classes.
The Altoona Area Kennel Association, Inc. is a not for profit organization that has been in existence for over 30 years. It is the only Kennel Club in the Altoona area that is recognized by the American Kennel Club.

We have experienced instructors in every course we teach. We run courses year round, with 2 - 15,000sq.ft. facility heated and large overhead fan for summer ventilation .
Our goal is to make living with your dog as easy and harmonious as possible. Our training methods are designed to help the dog and owner communicate with each other better. Successful communication is a two-way communication loop. Training is not just about the dog obeying commands, although that is certainly an important goal. We as owners also need to be able to 'read' our dogs, understand their signals to us, to help us understand if our communication attempts are effective.
Paws-itively Obedient, owned and operated by Valli Rovenolt, is located on Route 44 between McEwensville and Turbotville, PA. Built in 2004, the 4800 sq. ft. facility is heated and fully matted allowing classes to be held year round. An additional training building was built in 2011 to offer more classes and new programs. Seminars and free community education days are offered throughout the year. Both buildings can be rented; please contact us for rates and more information.
