Harnessed to Hope Northern Rescue Breen is a nonprofit 501c3 foster-based northern breed dog rescue. We work in eastern Pennsylvania, parts of Maryland, and souther New Jersey.
Founded in 1934 by a group of dog fanciers in central Pennsylvania, the Harrisburg Kennel Club, Inc. has actively supported dog fanciers and the selective, responsible breeding of purebred dogs for more than 85 years.
HSSC meetings are scheduled quarterly throughout the year. The club's annual awards banquet is held in December or January. In late summer, the club holds its annual member picnic. The Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc. (HOKAFI) is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter for abandoned, abused and stray dogs and cats located in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. The shelter is run primarily by a dedicated corps of volunteers and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Foundation depends entirely on the private sector for funding through donations, membership dues, grants and fundraising activities.
Hillside SPCA, Inc is a Pennsylvania non-profit corporation that provides animal welfare services to all of Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. In addition to operating the animal shelter facility, we also conduct investigations of animal cruelty and prosecute those individuals found to be violating the Pennsylvania Cruelty Statute.

Mid-Atlantic English Springer Spaniel Rescue (MAESSR) is a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to the rescue and placement of stray, abandoned, relinquished or impounded purebred English Springer Spaniels. MAESSR provides foster care and medical treatment to these Springers while screening potential homes interested in adopting. Our primary goals are to protect English Springer Spaniels, promote spay/neuter programs, and educate the public about the joys of English Springers Spaniels.

MAGDRL is staffed completely by volunteers. Like all humane groups, MAGDRL is in the unique position of helping both humans and pets. In our case, the pets are Great Danes and mixed Dane dogs, and the people are those who have or want the companionship of the breed or, often, just dogs in general.
